It was only a matter of time. Lil Yachty’s been on the come-up all year, and today the eccentric Atlanta rapper announced a new deal with Quality Control, home to artists like OG Maco, Rich the Kid, Migos, and more. “I am where I want to be, QC The Label,” tweeted Lil Yachty. “It’s Official.”
Lil Yachty already has a bunch of projects on the way. In addition to joint mixtapes with iLoveMakonnen, Rich the Kid, and Lil B/Soulja Boy, Yachty is also prepping a follow-up mixtape to Lil Boat called Summer Song 2, which should be out within the next couple months. He also announced a compilation mixtape called Meet the Sailing Team, which will feature Sailing Team artists like Burberry Perry, Byou, EarlThePearl, Kodie Shane, and KAYTHEYACHT.
