After honing their artsy-twee craft (I’m told that this mostly involves working on your song titles) in private for a year or two and releasing their critically-something-or-other new album Romance Is Boring (TMT Review) this past winter, you’d think that the boys and girls of Los Campesinos! would just relax, take it easy, and let the cash roll in.
But when you’ve got an exclamation point in your band name, you just can’t relax, man. So, what do you do with that excess energy and down time? Learn a second language? Start brewing your own beer at home? Well, how about “re-work” some of those album tracks for a four-track EP called All’s Well that Ends and release it on all digital service providers via Arts & Crafts?
Hey, that sounds perfect! Then you could probably just tour on the thing and you’ll never have to stop being in an awesome band and go back to your shitty former gig cleaning the toilets at the trailer park community pool. Awesome.
All’s Well That Ends (out now):
01. Romance Is Boring (Princess Version)
02. Letters From Me To Charlotte (RSVP)
03. Straight In At 101/It’s Never Enough
04. (All’s Well That Ends) In Medias Res
