Yesterday, Kings of Twitter Lust for Youth announced their new album Compassion, due March 18 on Sacred Bones. You can stream the latest single, “Stardom” below, but WARNING: the track will not stream unless you’re drinking vitamin water; wallowing in exquisite, fleeting melancholy; and sniffing the latest designer drugs. I don’t know. It’s sort of like a watermark, but to prevent less-than-impressive people from listening to their music instead of preventing people from burning music. It’s a new Scandinavian technology or something.
Anyway, the Copenhagen-based trio — consisting of Hannes Norrvide, Malthe Fischer, and Loke Rahbek — will be stopping briefly in North America for this year’s SXSW conference, with coastal jaunts to SF, LA, and NY. Then it’s back to Europe and more tweeting. (You should really follow them on Twitter, trust me.)
