Man, it must be awful being in the Black City all the time. So glum, so dark! Matthew Dear lives there (or at least made an album by the same name), so I can’t blame him for wanting to see the world and check out some cities that aren’t so darn monochromatic. And that’s just what he’s planning to do, as the menacing electro maestro has plotted a tour that takes him across much of North America before hopping over to Europe for a string of dates. Word of advice, Matt: snap a couple of pictures while you’re out there. They’ll be real nice to have once you’re back in that sad, bleak Black City room of yours.
