Few would argue that we, the world, need to mellow down at this point in history.
Never fear: LA-based producer, music maven, owner and curator of Leaving Records Matthewdavid is here. And he’s graciously providing us the necessary tools to finally mellow-out with the impending reissue of his second installment of archival ambient explorations. Disk II was originally issued (as a hand-painted CD-R!) back in 2012. But — because this is an EMERGENCY — it’s officially available right now on cassette and invisible-ethereal-magic (a.k.a. digital download) formats through Leaving Records.
Disk II features collaborations with Mike Collins (Silk Rhodes, RUN DMT) and Edwin Mathis (EOLA, Tonstartssbandht), as well as, apparently, a tribute to Cameron Stallones (Sun Araw).
