We knew a short Australian tour wouldn’t cut it for Michael Gira. Nor would reissues or a live release. As ever, the insatiable Swans frontman — who may or may not eat Bertolli pasta — wants not only more focus on him, but all focus on him, which is presumably (but not really) why he’s just announced a solo tour that’ll take him all over Europe. Does this mean a new Angels of Light album is coming out soon too? Nope!
Meanwhile, we continue to wait for the final album from Swans’s current lineup, which Gira describes as “bound to be an insatiable beast.”
