Reputed pop music-maker Isaac Brock and his music-making band of non-Isaac Brock music-makers haven’t exactly, you know, made a lot of music lately. But yo, EVEN STILL. They’re not about to let a little detail like that get in the way of the harvest-time for the music-makers that is summer tour season!
According to Consequence of Sound, Brock and whomever else will spend must of July and August trotting the Modest Mouse Machine around the US and Canada with fellow music-maker and guy-with-name Kevin Drew of Broken Social Scene. And who knows, right? Maybe playing a couple dozen shows will help get the ol’ creative juices slowing and we’ll see a new Modest Mouse album of made-music sometime before the next seven years pass. Or whatever, really. We’d probably settle for a comedy record too.
