No wave/punk/experimental drummer Weasel Walter has combined forces with jazz guitarist Mary Halvorson and avant-great trumpeter Peter Evans to bring you a brand new album that “alludes to the vexing encounter between nature and technology.” So expect something that sounds like a more civilized Godzilla vs. Mothra, like maybe having a polite discussion over tea, all “I see your point, Technology, sir. But I beg to differ.” Or maybe not, I don’t know. Nature is SCARY. The collaborative album is called Electric Fruit, and it’s coming out via Thirsty Ear Records on January 25, 2011. There will be a short tour in support of the record, but you don’t have to start planning for that until…. AW GEEZ IT’S STARTED ALREADY.
