Maybe I just haven’t Googled enough, but I can’t seem to piece together a coherent history of Norbert Möslang’s work. I know he played in the free jazz group Voice Crack from 1972 to 2002 and that they experimented with “everyday cracked-electronics.” I know that he’s releasing an LP called indoor_outdoor on December 10 via Ideologic Organ and that the record consists of just two tracks that are each nearly 20 minutes long.
I wish I had a cool video to show you or a couple of relevant anecdotes to tell you. Since I don’t, I’ll make a collage for you. A collage from the press release:
things sounding:
deep electric-rain-forest,
micro-vibrations,
underwater,
glass windows,
quiet art museum,
(this does not mean to be earnest)
indoor_outdoor tracklist:
01. indoor_outdoor
02. hot_cold_shield
