Get ready to party like it’s exactly 2019! Octo Octa (Maya Bouldry-Morrison) is set to unveil her third full-length, Resonant Body, which follows the For Lovers EP from earlier this year.
The album, recorded in the woods in New Hampshire and described as “her most spiritual and nature-connected work,” is coming out on Octo Octa and partner Eris Drew’s T4T LUV NRG label, which launched earlier this year. Maya’s previous full-lengths are 2013’s Between Two Selves (100% Silk) and 2017’s Where Are We Going? (HNYTRX).
Additionally, 50% of the record’s proceeds will go to the Sylvia Rivera Law Project (SRLP), “which works to guarantee that all people are free to self-determine their gender identity and expression, regardless of income or race, and without facing harassment, discrimination, or violence.”
The new, party-starting-like-it’s-2019 single “Spin Girl, Lets Activate!” and tracklist are below, and the album’s release date is September 6.
