Retribution Gospel Choir is a tough band to say anything terribly interesting about. There isn’t a captivating element about the band; even that picture above makes me wanna curl up under my desk and take a nap. To boot, their press release states: “Retribution Gospel Choir is a rock trio founded in 2007. The group features Alan Sparhawk (of Low fame) on guitar and vocals, Steve Garrington on bass and Eric Pollard on drums and vocals.” If the description of the band doesn’t lull your mind to rest, by the time they roll through your town you should consider giving them a chance for retribution (oh dear) with their live show. Come December 28, RGC will be tumbling through the US almost exactly a year after their aptly titled second LP 2 (TMT Review) was released courtesy of Sub Pop. Dates after the jump.
