The Teflon Don has never really stemmed his output, but it’s fair to say that last year’s albums, Mastermind and Hood Billionaire, were kinda lacking in gold-standard Rozay material. He’s always worth sticking ‘round for, though — Black Dollar was the most vital transmission from MMG’s head honcho in a minute, even copping a piece from Jackson in TMT’s Favorite Mixtapes of September feature.
So, yeah, onto Black Market. It’s gonna be a fully fledged, capital-a Album, arriving in December. The rest is marketing gush, of course, but if Market taps into the same vein as Dollar, it should be well worth the price of admission. The Chris Brown-featuring “Sorry” is the single, and boy does it sound it: the smooth, soaring pop hook and a despondent-sounding Ross are primed and ready for yet more chart success.
