Holy long-ass-time-between-new-releases, Batman!
Other than this standalone track called “Honey” she contributed to the HBO show Girls last year and a few one-off collabs and EPs, Robyn has not released a capital-O Official solo album (at least not on planet earth…at least not under the name “Robyn”) since 2010’s universally acclaimed Body Love. But now, at long last, the eternally-youthful Swedish song-singerizer is just about ready to…finally…probably…possibly…in all likelihood…soon…in due time…triumphantly smash her dramatic eight years pseudo-silence!
Yep; kind of a big deal. And yo, YOU’LL NEVER GUESS HOW I MANAGED TO SLEUTH OUT THIS #MEGANEWS.
See, a few weeks ago, a fan on Twitter did the UN-FUCKING-THINKABLE and, ya know, asked her about it.
And…then, uh, well; Robyn answered.
Yeah. Seriously. Check out the exchange for your damnselves:
I do. Some time this year honey

There you have it, kids: sometimes, all you gotta do is ask. (Real talk, though? I bet it was probably that “tbh” bit that did the trick…you know?)
Anyway, stay tuned for more info as it quasi-develops via clipped, back-and-forth chats on social networking sites. Bye-bye for now, everybody. <3
