Sarah Mary Chadwick’s The Queen Who Stole the Sky live album is out THIS FRIDAY on Sinderlyn

What were you doing 147 years ago? I know: it’s been a few years, and you have a raging hanger today and you can’t find your 1872 agenda, blah, blah… Well, I think I can guess what you WEREN’T doing back then! You weren’t playing the brand-spanking new Town Hall organ in Melbourne. I’ll bet you weren’t playing it just last December either because I know who was!

Commissioned by the City of Melbourne, the remarkable Sarah Mary Chadwick jumped on the largest Grand Romantic organ in the Southern Hemisphere late last year to perform The Queen Who Stole the Sky, and the live album of her performance will be released THIS FRIDAY on Sinderlyn.

Travel back in time (to December) and listen to Chadwick bring this 147-year-old organ to life with a record that is dedicated to “anyone who ever wanted a little bit more than what life had to offer them.” Take a listen or twelve to the deeply powerful “Confetti” and “The Queen Who Stole the Sky” below; then jump here to pre-order the DL or limited blue vinyl LP.
