Ever since that October 30, 2003 broadcast of the fifth episode of the fourth season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation titled “Fur and Loathing,” I’ve been deeply curious about global furry culture. And no, it’s not just because of the yiffing, you pervert! I’m interested in all facets of furry culture: the food, the nightlife, and especially the music.
So, you can imagine my delight when I learned that Super Furry Animals will soon be running Rings Around the World, or North America anyway, on a cuddly little tour. It’s their first in six years, from all the way back when they were supporting their 2009 album, Dark Days / Light Years.
