If you know anything about the glittery, dark world of Indie Rock (you don’t) then you know that Blammy (a bloated Grammy) winning and over-hyped rock duo The Helio Sequence care about one thing and one thing only — MAKIN’ DA GREEN!
Their first album in four years, Negotiations, will be released September 11 on Sub Pop (as mentioned previously in headline). I don’t know about you, but when I read that last line all I see is, “Cha-Ching!” Yep, The Sequence are releasing their album on one of the hottest record release dates of the year with the biggest cash cow label in history. These guys are so rich they’re going to be wearing suits made out of $20 bills. Hilarious!
So you better start saving your cash and buy like three or four records for all of your family members, because these guys need a third yacht… badly! Just to pretend they’re not the billionaires they really are, The Helio Sequence also put together a promo video with the two members walking around in nature without the Segway they normally use to get around in. Rich!
