In an audacious claim, The Very Best claim to be the very best. What’s that now? You say that you, the duo of Johan Hugo and Esau Mwamwaya, are the best? Well, prove it, buddies. Prove that you’re the best. Only one way to do that: go on tour of the United States. And as such, The Very Best will go on a US tour this June, all to prove that they are the best.
In their quest to be the best, The Very Best will embark on roughly a month full of dates, including festivals like Underground Arts, Northside, Bonnaroo, and Sierra Nevada. By the end of the stretch, they will have proven that is is them and not you, not anyone else, who are the best. Earlier this year, the group released their third full-length, Makes A King, prompting the question of what, exactly, makes a king? Well, a king, friend, is made from the best around.
