OMG, WOW, YOU GUYS! FRONT PAGE NEWS!! YOU WON’T BELIEVE THIS, BUT…
Ughhhhh.
You know what? Never-the-fuck-mind. We’re fucking sooooo sick and tired of “hyping” any/all Radiohead-related news to you guys all the time.
So…SCREW IT:
• Thom Yorke (you know who he is) will be performing two (2) US headline shows “in a live mix with Nigel Godrich and visual artist Tarik Barri” this December. (Yes, yes: Happy Christmas. War is over if you want it. Etc.)
• The dates are in California and will presage his previously-announced appearance at this year’s Day for Night Festival in Houston, Texas.
• Tickets for each concert will go on general sale at the exceedingly well-defined time of Friday (October 6, 2017) at 10 a.m. PST.
• However, there will be a small (and, one should hope, orderly) pre-order ticket sale concerning those same aforementioned Thom Yorke concerts on the W.A.S.T.E. store this Thursday (October 5, 2017) at 10 a.m. PST.
• All three dates are listed chronologically at the bottom of this post (just as they always are for every artist we cover).
• In addition — to coincide with the principally announced live concerts — Mr. Yorke’s 2014 self-released album Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes will be duly re-reissued as a CD, Vinyl, and digital download courtesy of XL Recordings on December 8, 2017 and can be pre-ordered thusly, if one should find oneself so-motivated.
This concludes the principle portion of today’s Thom Yorke-oriented TMT news post.
You’re welcome.
Once again, the live dates (initially described above) are:
12.12.17 - Los Angeles, CA - The Fonda Theater
12.14.17 - Oakland, CA - Fox Theater
12.17.17 - Houston, TX - Day For Night Festival
