Ah, I’m so sad! Because I’m just now learning that, this past spring, when George Lewis Jr. and his mega-band were touring in support of this year’s mega-loud new album Eclipse, they were involved in a huge bummer of a bus accident that resulted in 12 hospitalizations and forced them off the road for a while.
But now I’m so HAPPY! Because the band has apparently bounced back from this shit situation and has recently announced make-up dates for the “Night Rally Tour,” starting August 21 in Portland, OR and extending through mid-October! Tickets to the shows are available now on the band’s website! Gah!!! I don’t even know what to DO with all of these huge, widescreen emotions that I’m feeling right now. Oh wait, I know… I could listen to some Twin Shadow and let myself FEEL STUFF until I puke. Let’s DO this.
