Twin Sister sign to Domino for debut album, but I heard that they're never ever actually releasing a full-length

Last year, dreamy Long Island outfit Twin Sister released an EP called Color Your Life. And people liked it a lot. Since then, the public has taken to the streets, clamoring for a full-length of Twin Sister material. Bad news, public, it’s never gonna happen. Just the other day, my best buddies in Twin Sister (we’ve been friends ever since we played in that softball team together, The Twingurneys) approached me and confided that they would never, ever release a full-length record. Now I’m telling you, the internet, because I really feel like I can trust you. You’d never let confidential info like this leak.

Of course, Twin Sister still have to keep up appearances, hence why they are now signing to Domino Records. Domino, being the schmucks they are, really think they’ll be putting out a debut full-length from the band later this year. I mean, listen to how ridiculous this sounds: Twin Sister will be putting out a debut full-length via Domino later this year. It sounds laughable at best, a little embarrassing at worst. But just let Domino keep believing this whole full-length thing is actually going to happen, I don’t think their little hearts could take it.

While they’re busy not recording a full-length, Twin Sister will be going on a fairly extensive North American tour. Go out and see them if you’d like to hear all your old favorites from their two EPs, plus songs set to end up on some unidentified future release. If I had to guess, it’ll probably be a series of limited-edition 7-inches.
