There’s a new Vic Mensa EP waiting to fill the empty spots in your hearts and stereos. Titled There’s Alot Going On, it’s Vic’s first release since 2013’s INNANETAPE and a teaser for his forthcoming debut LP, Traffic, which be released on Jay Z’s Roc Nation at some mysterious time in the (probably) not-so-distant future.
The EP features an appearance from Ty Dolla $ign, as well as the song “16 Shots,” a track dedicated to Laquan McDonald, the late Chicago teen who was shot 16 times by police offers. There’s Alot Going On is available via iTunes and all that, but if you want it for free, Vic Mensa has teamed up with the Hip Hop Caucus’ Respect My Vote! campaign to give out for free (until July 4) to fans who pledge to vote.
