Do you ever listen to a Wilco song and wonder how awesome it’d sound if there were four times the amount of drums and all the guitars and vocals were removed?
Well, according to our research (by which we mean a number plucked out of thin air), you’re not alone, as 37.64% of all Wilco listeners wonder the exact same thing.
It is therefore with great pleasure we can announce to the 37.64% that their dreams have come true, because Wilco drummer Glenn Kotche is releasing a 100% percussion album with Sō Percussion called Drumkit Quartets.
The album will be released February 26 via Cantaloupe Music, and the 37.64% can pinch themselves and confirm they’re not dreaming as they sample the track “Drumkit #54” below. Yes, it’s all percussion, and yes, it’s all good.
