If you love Young Thug as much as we do, you’ll be excited about this: the rapper has announced the August 16 drop date of his final mixtape of 2016, Jeffery. The release will be his third this year (after February’s I’m Up and March’s Slime Season 3) and comes ahead of Young Thug’s debut studio album, Hy!£UN35.
Jeffery’s release date was revealed via an Instagram post. It happens to fall on the 25th birthday of Jeffery Lamar Williams a.k.a. Young Thug.
In related news, there’s an official video available now on Tidal for Thugger’s recent collab with Usher, “No Limit.” It’s a minimalist affair, and additionally features Gucci Mane, Ty Dolla $ign, and Boosie Badazz. If you’re not a subscriber though, you can preview 30 seconds of the video below.
