Since the Quantum Natives’ release United In Dance, Dane Law has been busy, including a RE-EDIT and a JEROME Mixfile. #015 to be exact. And I actually heard a Tuluum Shimmering tape recently that deploys a similar concept Dane Law does in JEROME Mixfile #015. In the Tuluum Shimmering tape, there was such a gradual shift throughout 45 minutes of practically the same loop. In JEROME Mixfile #015, Dane Law has a similar evolve to the fragmented, glitchy, barely sparkling melody that is twisted and contorted — a little more frequent than “gradual” — throughout, almost climaxing a story of sorts, being told through a molding of sound.
