And with the mixtape comes a fresh city wind, Ceno and Trav’s auto-tune vocals as absurd and bizarre and amazing as expected, but cut with a newfound clarity and precision. This allows us to isolate their lyrical maturity amidst the sunny production and breezy feels, but their words still form a torrent flecked with digital debris and upbeat overreaching, a spectral maximalism for the Chicago underground and beyond.
