UPDATE: The track keeps getting taken down, but the fans keep putting them back up. Here’s the latest:
If anyone can get me to download the heavy, resource-consuming iTunes, it’s Charli XCX. She’s on Apple Music’s Beats 1 right now, playing a bunch of pop jams from the likes of LIZ, Beiber, SOPHIE, Skepta, and Diplo (with CL, OG Maco, Riff Raff), with more coming from Sex Pistols and PC Music. She’ll even be interviewing Pussy Riot. Most excitingly, however, Charli will be premiering a new, long-anticipated track with SOPHIE. All signs point to what’s being called “VROOM VROOM.”
If you’ve seen SOPHIE live, you might’ve heard the song already (among several other SOPHIE collaborations). But this’ll be the track’s premiere and the first official preview of Charli’s upcoming PC Music-influenced album. She canceled a tour in part just to work on the album, so hopefully we’ll see something sooner rather than later.
