In these dark days of ___ and ___ [insert your choice of darkness, depending on when you’re reading this], Iggy Pop and Josh Homme have joined forces to save us all. The two, along with Homme’s Queens Of The Stone Age bandmate and Dead Weather multi-instrumentalist Dean Fertita, Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders, QOTSA multi-instrumentalist Troy Van Leeuwen, and friend-of-everyone (i.e., he’s on pretty much every album ever) guitarist/bassist Matt Sweeney, will embark on a tour to promote Iggy’s new album Post Pop Depression. This is a one-off thing, so if you like Homme and you like Pop, get tickets now or buy a gross hippie van and follow them around or whatever your weird deal is, Superfan.
Post Pop Depression is out March 18, and the tour kicks off March 28 in Seattle, hitting certain lucky cities in the north part of North America before heading over to Europe.
