Jessy Lanza is a club disciple who has also held onto a deep melancholy pop streak. These two sides of her personality come together in the recent “Oh No” video. Nailing a certain suburban loneliness (similar to when there’s a great party happening across the water, but you know the last train leaves too early, so you’re stuck in town for the night), this is for anybody who grew up wondering why Paradise Garage was not located in the 7-Eleven parking lot.
