Waaaaaaaaay back in shit-show that was November 2017, we reported on the emergence of Tropical Fuck Storm, a band featuring front-man and the nihilistic bard of The Drones, Gareth Liddiard.
Now, here in the still-glorious dawn of 2018, TFS have surreptitiously slipped into the announcement of their latest single “You Let My Tyres Down” the fact that the group will also be releasing their debut album on May 4.
Further details of the album, A Laughing Death In Meatspace, are scarce, other than that “You Let My Tyres Down” will feature on the record — and that, duh, that title is pretty freaking awesome.
Meanwhile, you can still partake in the mail order only release of TFS’ first four 7 inch singles from Mistletone/TFS Records. The final installment drops in March, and “You Let My Tyres Down” is released February 2 (backed with a cover of the Divinyls’ still relevant feminist anthem “Back to the Wall”).
