RIP: Prodigy of Mobb Deep

Prodigy, one-half of the legendary ’90s rap group Mobb Deep, died Tuesday (June 20) at age 42. The prolific MC was hospitalized in Las Vegas several days ago due to complications caused by his sickle cell anemia.
Known for his rugged rap scheme, Prodigy flourished in the ’90s alongside Havoc as the famed duo Mobb Deep. With hits like “Quiet Storm” and “Shook Ones,” they became synonymous with East Coast rap.

Young Thug finally releases long-awaited “singing album” BEAUTIFUL THUGGER GIRLS
After a relatively quiet start to 2017, Young Thug has finally come through with his first release of the year. It’s titled BEAUTIFUL THUGGER GIRLS (previously rumored to be Easy Breezey Beautiful Thugger Girls) and features 14 tracks executive produced by Drake and longtime collaborators London On Da Track and Wheezy.
