Drake drops two songs as part of Scary Hours project

And then Ross was like, "What? You're over me? When were you... under me?" HAHAHAH!!

Over the weekend, Drake dropped two new songs via… Instagram! They’re called “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity,” and they come listed on streaming services as part of something called Spooky Hours, for which no other tracks are currently listed. Are more songs on the way? Has Drake evolved beyond this newfangled “playlist” format he “pioneered” with last year’s More Life into the even more disruptive format of, um, basically just A/B singles with their own titles and no advance information?

RIP: Fredo Santana, drill rapper and Chief Keef's cousin

According to reports, Chicago rapper Fredo Santana has died at 27. He is the older cousin of Chief Keef and helped usher drill to the mainstream. TMZ reports that he died Friday night from a seizure.

Rappers took to social media this morning to offer words:

Porches The House

[Domino; 2018]

Styles: indie pop, dance pop, pbr&b
Others: Majical Cloudz, James Blake, Grimes

If the music video for “Find Me” serves as any indication, Aaron Maine’s latest affectation is meticulosity. The promo film for the first single, teased before the release of Porches’ newest record The House, finds its frontman preening before his bathroom mirror, carefully slicking back his bleach-blonde locks, scrutinizing his teeth for any dross, and perfecting a Jim Morrison-channeling gaze before traipsing around a shopping mall parking lot and later undulating on top of an underweighted workout bench.

Last we heard from Yo La Tengo, the iconic indie rock band who may or may not understand how the Spanish language works, they had just announced a slate of 2018 tour dates throughout North America and Europe.

In 1959, a two-ton mass of circuit boards, cabinets, wires, dials, and knobs was trucked from RCA Laboratories in Princeton, NJ to a building owned by Columbia University at 632 West 125th St. in Harlem. The pieces were taken up to the third floor via a freight elevator and assembled into the RCA Mark II, the first programmable electronic synthesizer and the centerpiece of the new Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music Center.

Since obviously no one else is really picking up the ball and running with this whole “music thing” so far in 2018, New Yorkian singer-songwriter Damon McMahon has decided to strike out as Amen Dunes once again with the release of his fifth LP, Freedom, out March 30 on Sacred Bones. Amen, dudes! (Actually, amen, everyone: gender is over!)

Anyway, I know this insane winter weather has you just itching for those toasty indie rock vibes, so let’s get right to the good stuff: promotional album descriptions! Here’s a fresh one now:
